Students Change Hunger Food Drive!

What is Students Change Hunger?
  • The Federation of New Jersey Food Banks is challenging all students, staff, teachers and parents to think of those less fortunate this upcoming school year by organizing a food drive at their school, from mid-September through mid-November.
  • New Jersey schools will compete with each other to collect as much food as possible for their local food bank.
  • At the end of the challenge, schools that bring the most food will be presented with awards by their local food bank.

Capturing Conservation Art Contest

The Goddard School of Wall is highly involved in helping save the Earth’s natural resources. We have used solar energy for over eight years, we recycle and we celebrate Earth Day. We also have special visitors, like “Let’s Bloom Together”, “Lights Out”, and “Earth Hour” who teach our students about the Earth and doing their part to keep it clean!

The Goddard School of Wall is participating in the Monmouth Conservation Foundation Capturing Conservation Art Contest.  Students are asked to create pictures (no photographs) of nature outside in their back yard, local parks, wooded areas, beaches, and open space. A winner will be picked for each age group (Pre K, Preschool, Get Set, and Kindergarten) and will receive a $25 gift card to Toys R Us! All the artwork will then be entered into the Monmouth Conservation Foundation Contest for a chance to win more prize! We hold creativity very highly. The more creative the better! The world around us is a beautiful place, so get out there and explore!

Please send all submissions in to your child’s teacher by Monday October 7th. If you have any questions feel free to contact Miss Melissa, our social media coordinator, at Melissa.Ferrari22@yahoo.com.
