To succeed in school and life, children and young adults need ongoing opportunities to learn and practice essential skills. This is especially true during the summer months. Summer is an opportunity for kids to have fun and relax – but the learning must go on! Summer camp is a place where kids can have fun, meet new friends, try new things, and continue learning new things.
Utilizing the concepts of theF.L.EX. Learning Program, our Summer Camp at Goddard blends fun, adventure and learning. Children love our unique summer activities where play and educational opportunities combine! The Goddard School goes far beyond just summer camp fun. Our Program combines songs, stories, exploration, physical activities and learning adventures in a safe, nurturing environment.
It’s going to be a fun summer at Goddard this year! Our Summer Camp theme is Amazing Animals. The children will explore and learn about animals in all different environments around the world! There will be lots of manipulative play and hands-on art this summer.
Every Tuesday is water day; we will have water activities set up for the kids so they can cool off from the heat. Every Friday Amazing Athletes come to get the kids on their feet and playing sports. Each Friday will feature a different sport. All summer long we will be having special visitors come to school who will be supporting the Amazing Animals theme.
On Tuesday, March 25th from 9 am - 8 pm we are having a Summer Camp sneak-peak open house here at the Goddard School of Wall. Come take a tour of our school and meet some of the teachers who will be here for the summer. Learn more about our Amazing Animals theme and find out what the kids will be learning this summer. We will have balloon animals and face painting - so bring the whole family and invite some friends or neighbors.
To find out more about our Summer Camp program or our open house in March, please contact our Education Director, Samantha Calabrese, at (732) 974- 8314. At Goddard Summer Camp, science and nature, arts and crafts, manners, computers and technology, literature and language, music and movement, sports and games, cooking and drama are all brought to life. We ensure your child has a memorable summer all the while, preparing them for the upcoming school year!
The Federation of New Jersey Food Banks is challenging all students, staff, teachers and parents to think of those less fortunate this upcoming school year by organizing a food drive at their school, from mid-September through mid-November.
New Jersey schools will compete with each other to collect as much food as possible for their local food bank.
At the end of the challenge, schools that bring the most food will be presented with awards by their local food bank.

The Goddard
School of Wall is highly involved in helping save the Earth’s natural resources.
We have used solar energy for over eight years, we recycle and we celebrate
Earth Day. We also have special visitors, like “Let’s Bloom Together”, “Lights
Out”, and “Earth Hour” who teach our students about the Earth and doing their
part to keep it clean! The Goddard
School of Wall is participating in the Monmouth Conservation Foundation
Capturing Conservation Art Contest.
Students are asked to create pictures (no photographs) of nature outside
in their back yard, local parks, wooded areas, beaches, and open space. A
winner will be picked for each age group (Pre K, Preschool, Get Set, and
Kindergarten) and will receive a $25 gift card to Toys R Us! All the artwork
will then be entered into the Monmouth Conservation Foundation Contest for a
chance to win more prize! We hold creativity very highly. The more creative the
better! The world around us is a beautiful place, so get out there and explore! Please send all submissions in to
your child’s teacher by Monday October 7th. If you have any questions feel free to contact Miss
Melissa, our social media coordinator, at Melissa.Ferrari22@yahoo.com.
